A FIRE DESTROYS A DETACHED GARAGE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

According to County fire Battalion Chief Donnie Viloria, San Bernardino County Fire units from Twentynine Palms Station 44 were dispatched to a reported structure fire at around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Amboy Road and Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms. When firefighters arrived, they discovered an abandoned detached garage fully involved in flames. Firefighters mounted an attack and quickly knocked down the flames. No injuries were reported.
