Last night’s special meeting of the Morongo Valley CSD included a workshop concerning the CSD’s previous and current fiscal year budgets. Director Kristina Brook gave a presentation outlining the entire $908,000 budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year that funded the fire department, parks, and street lights in Morongo Valley. Director Brook also discussed the CSD’s proposed $777,000 budget for the 2018-2019 fiscal year, which the board later discussed in detail. The board also approved a new attorney contract and entered into closed session to discuss anticipated litigation, there was no public report.
