Director Eric Ross has cast “A Christmas Story” at Theatre 29, which follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker, played by Rory O’Brien, recently seen in “The Secret Garden.” The show is narrated by the Adult Ralph played by Ethan Flores, recently seen as Flounder in the theater 29’s “Disney’s The Littlest Mermaid.” Ralphie’s parents are played by Theatre 29 veterans Leonard Weber and Cindy Ross. Analisa Pilecki portrays Ralphie’s school teacher. Sharing the role of Ralphie’s little brother Randy are Theatre 29 newcomers Justin Casey-Eich and Ryan Kidd. His school pals are played by Adonai Patu and Nicholas Perez. Jesse Sheckler, another new-comer, will play Scut Farkas the school bully. Irene Harlan will play schoolmate Helen and Bella Oden of “The Secret Garden” plays Esther. Santa Claus will play himself. “A Christmas Story” is appropriate for all ages so bring the entire family to see this hysterical holiday favorite.
“A Christmas Story” runs weekends from November 18 through December 17, Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. with 2:30 Sunday matinees on November 27, and December 11.
