A CHRISTMAS DAY ARREST FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER IN JOSHUA TREE

An argument over video games led to an arrest for attempted murder Christmas morning. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 61900 block of Sunburst Circle in Joshua Tree about 5:10 a.m. Friday morning. Adrian Garcia, 26, had been arguing with the victim over video games when the argument became physical, and Garcia allegedly stabbed the victim in the arm numerous times, causing major bleeding. Adrian Garcia was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $1 million.
