The Tri-Valley Little League Yucca Red All-Star team for 7- and 8-year-olds won the District 58 Tournament Championship in Desert Hot Springs last week. In the double-elimination tournament, Tri-Valley’s Yucca Red faced off against the Twentynine Palms Dirt Devils for the third time in the final battle to determine the champion, and came out on top, 8-3. The team won seven straight games during the tournament and outscored their opponents 88 to 50. The Yucca Red All-Star Team players are: Toby Hathaway, Logan Mcintyre, Tyler Van Duyne, Tyler Price, Nathan Natzel, Tristan Priest, Michael Chandler, Asher Baker, Aiden Shannon, Sebastian Navarrete, and Hayden Russell. The team was coached by Brad Price, Billy Mcintyre, and Jaime Price, with Manager James Natzel and Team Mom Candy Van Duyne.
