Thieves were busy over the weekend. According to Sheriff’s reports, thieves stole a travel trailer, a trailer, and a golf cart from Landers, Joshua Tree, and Morongo Valley. The travel trailer, which had flat tires and broken windows, was reported stolen 11:30 Saturday morning from a home in the 3000 block of Shawnee Trail in Landers, along with tools and other miscellaneous items. Then about noon Saturday, the owner of a home in the 67700 block of Cielito Drive in Joshua Tree also reported that a trailer had been stolen sometime in the last two years. And finally, about 11:30 p.m., a resident in the 11100 block of Hess Boulevard reported a golf cart was stolen that had been stored on the west side of the house. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
