Bargains, baked goods, and a community meeting will bring folks to Landers’ Belfield Hall tomorrow. Reporter Mike Lipsitz fills us in…
Saturday looks to be a busy day at Landers Belfield Hall. Activity begins at 10 a.m. when the popular Landroid pop-up Café begins serving up home-baked treats and breakfast specials. The Thrift Shoppe also opens at 10 a.m. with stocked shelves priced to move. Landers Community Association
meets at 3 p.m. On the agenda is the swearing in of new officers and reaffirmation of seated board members. Theatrical director Rebecca Havely will announce plans for a Landers special comedy event May 19. And there will be updates on a proposed Landers sign, planned fundraisers and ‘food
raisers.’ Membership is not required to attend. Belfield Hall is on Reche Road, just east of the Landers Post Office.
