Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary at a Twentynine Palms church. Deputies were called to the church in the 72000 block of Samarkand Drive at 11:30 Tuesday by an employee who said that sometime since Sunday services, the unknown suspects had broken into the church through a window. The thieves stole about $500 in change from a jar that was to go to kids in Africa. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
