A native of Joshua Tree, Gene Evaro Jr. personifies the quiet spirit of the Hi-Desert in his music. He and the Yucca Valley High School select choir will be performing a benefit concert to raise money for the choir’s upcoming trip to Washington D.C. The concert will be held at Yucca Valley High school on Saturday, December 2 from 7-8 p.m. A community arts-and-crafts fair will take place at 3 p.m. before the concert. Vendors will be available, selling food, drink, and holiday gifts. Additional vendors are still needed.
