The kick-off for the 85th annual Pioneer Days event is scheduled for Friday (October 1) from 5-9 p.m. The event will be held in front of the Desert Storm Homecoming & Victory Parade mural on the Desert Cycle Works building (6177 Adobe Road) in Twentynine Palms; and will feature food, music, and information on all upcoming Pioneer Days events. The community is invited to meet the 2021 Grand Marshals (John & Marsha Cole), Judge & Sheriff (Chrissy McGrorty & Kelly McGrorty), and purchase a 2021 Pioneer Days button.
