An 85-year-old Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday after deputies heard him shoot a gun in the neighborhood. Deputies were called to the 1600 block of Jemez Trail just before 4 p.m. for a report of neighborhood dispute. While on the scene, deputies heard a gunshot. After an investigation, Ellis Nemer was arrested on suspicion of discharging of a firearm. Ellis Nemer was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and released on $50,000 bail.
