Twentynine Palms Police Department Traffic Unit conducted a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint Sunday at Twentynine Palms Hwy and Encelia Ave between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. 849 Vehicles were Screened, 8 Drivers were cited and 2 arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspended/revoked.
Twentynine Palms PD will be conducting another DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint or DUI saturation Patrol in the near future.
