The 13th annual Twentynine Palms Street fair and Car show was held Saturday night on the highway in downtown Twentynine Palms. A big crowd enjoyed street entertainment and vendors while some 84 vehicles were judged for the car show. Taking first place in the Antique stock was Liz Meyer. First place for Antique custom was Jim Lauber. Classic stock was Rob Jennings; classic custom, Ron Pecaro. First place in modern stock was James Salazar, and Modern custom was Jim Harris. Gordon Hay took first place in stock trucks; first place in custom truck was Dion McIntyre. Gary Link took first place for Custom motorcycle and Jesse Silvas took stock cycle.
