This year’s Student Art Show at Copper Mountain College offers the artists an opportunity to get their works before the public and invites the community for a peak at new work from new artists. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us how to see it all…
The 7th Annual Student Art Show at Copper Mountain College will dazzle the eye with an array of fresh works including drawings, paintings, graphic designs, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and photography. It’s an eclectic collection and the public is invited to the opening reception and exhibit this Friday, May 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Bell Center foyer at CMC. All works will be for offered at affordable prices and CMC students will benefit directly from the proceeds. This free exhibition runs through May 17; the gallery is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
