Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a home invasion robbery in Yucca Valley Tuesday. According to a Sheriff’s report, two men were watching a home in the 57400 block of Buena Suerte Road and when they saw a vehicle leave Tuesday morning, they assumed the house was empty. The men, who were wearing Halloween masks, broke into the home by kicking in a patio door and breaking a window. Once inside, the suspects discovered a 79-year-old man still inside the home. The burglars forced the victim to a back room and then ransacked the house. They stole the victim’s wedding ring, jewelry, and electronics before fleeing. The victim is on oxygen and felt weak after the attack, and had a scratch on his head. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
