The 61st Annual Youth Basketball Tournament will take place in Twentynine Palms this weekend, March 22-24. Some 50 teams have been organized into seven different divisions, both boys and girls, for the tournament. Almost 80 games will be played over the course of the three-day tournament Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (March 22, 23, and 24.) Twentynine Palms High School, Twentynine Palms Junior High School, and Copper Mountain College’s Bell Center. Teams will come from Arizona, Mexico, Las Vegas, Redondo Beach, and other Southern California communities. There will be snack bars at each location and admission is $5, free for children under 12.
