The sixth weekend of the 60 Swarm road construction projects on Highway 60 continues this weekend. Eastbound Highway 60 will be closed between Interstate 15 and the 60/91/215 junction in Riverside through Monday at 5 a.m. Eastbound lanes will be closed for three more weekends, followed by another seven weekends, during which westbound lanes will be closed. There will be no closures during the Veterans Day weekend. All lanes and ramps are closed, although local businesses will be open. Motorists who are passing through are urged to use Highway 91 or Interstate 10 around the 60 Swarm.
