A 6-year-old boy who was playing in the desert in Yucca Valley Wednesday had his bicycle and scooter stolen as he watched. According to a Sheriff’s report, the boy had left his black-and-red Razor scooter and his 16-inch black-and-red bicycle at the end of the street at Hardesty Drive and San Andreas Road about 3 p.m. He told deputies that an unknown man, whom he described as white and bald wearing a white shirt, drove up in a small white pick-up truck. The man stopped the truck and placed the scooter and the bicycle in the bed of the truck and drove off. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
