There are just two weekends left in the run of “Ragtime” at Theatre 29, with a matinee scheduled for tomorrow. Managing Editor Tami Roleff says, reserve your tickets now and enjoy it…
Capacity crowds have enjoyed performances of the epic musical “Ragtime” at Theatre 29 since opening night. The production is outstanding in every way: costumes, set, and the singing and acting are superb. Director Charles Harvey has indeed assembled a stunning array of local singers. Foremost among these is Jennifer Paulk who takes the lead role of Mother. Joining her are Graham Cooley, Alex Gomez, Erin Itnyre-Keeran and Horace Miller as Coalhouse Walker, Jr. Also featured are Gloria Garner, Ben Bees, Sadie Johannsson and Leonard Weber. Add in an ensemble of nearly 30 more strong voices under the guidance of Musical Director Kathryn Ferguson and the result is a musical performance not to be missed! “Ragtime” runs through 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights through June 1 with a final matinee show Sunday, May 26th at 2:30. Make reservations through the box office at 760-361-4151 or on-line at Theatre29.org. But hurry as the remaining shows are selling out fast!
