The 60th Annual boys and girls youth basketball tournament is in Twentynine Palms this weekend. Some 50 teams have been organized into seven different divisions, both boys and girls, for the tournament. Almost 80 games will be played over the course of the three-day tournament Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (March 23, 24, and 25.) Twentynine Palms High School, Twentynine Palms Junior High School, and Copper Mountain College’s Bell Center will host teams from Arizona, Mexico, Las Vegas, Redondo Beach, and other Southern California communities. There will be snack bars at each location and admission is $5, free for children under 12.
