A 5-year-old boy who wandered away from his family’s camp site on a motorcycle in Lucerne Valley Sunday was found alive and well. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station received a report that 5-year-old Otto Dahl had ridden away from his family’s campsite at Cougar Butte in the Johnson Valley OHV area of Lucerne Valley on a blue Yamaha motorcycle around 2 p.m. and had not returned. Sheriffs and detectives began an immediate search with the Aviation Divisions of both the Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol, as well as county Search and Rescue teams. After most of the night in the desert, Otto Dahl was located early Monday morning alive and well and was safely reunited with his family.
