46 STOPPED, 18 ARRESTED, IN YUCCA VALLEY PROACTIVE PATROL

During a proactive patrol in Yucca Valley Friday and Saturday, deputies with the Problem-Oriented Policing team arrested 18 people out of 46 enforcement stops. Deputies made 46 enforcement stops between the hours of 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. both days. The arrests varied from felony weapon possessions, parole violations, possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, warrants, and municipal code violations such as being in town parks after hours.
