The 44th annual gem and mineral show at the Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club opens at noon October 2 and runs through October 6. There will be more than 60 vendors, with geodes, fossils, crystals, jewelry, crafts, gems, and works of art. Refreshments will be available in the Patio Craft Beer Garden. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking. Hours are noon to 5 October 2, 8 to 5 October 3-6. The Sportsman’s Club is on Sunburst Avenue near the community center in Joshua Tree.
