40 PERCENT OF JOSHUA BASIN CUSTOMERS WITHOUT WATER DUE TO WATER MAIN BREAK

An estimated 40 percent of Joshua Basin Water District customers are without water today due to a water main break last night. A spokeswoman from the water district told Z107.7 News that workers were called out last night for a water leak, and the broken water main was officially reported at 1 a.m. Friday. She said the water district hopes to have the break repaired sometime today. Bighorn Desert View Water District and Twentynine Palms Water District have both offered assistance, if needed, in repairing the line. Residents who are experiencing an interruption in their water service are encouraged to use their own emergency water supplies.
