4-YEAR-OLD FALLS OUT OF A SECOND STORY WINDOW IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A 4-year-old boy fell out of a second story window in Twentynine Palms Tuesday. According to a Sheriff’s report, the toddler, who lives in military housing in the 5900 block of Desert Knoll Avenue, opened a window in his bedroom about 9:30 p.m., leaned out and fell. The boy landed on his stomach and was not bleeding when paramedics arrived. He was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center as a precaution. The family told deputies they are on a waiting list for a one-story home.
