Hi-Desert Medical Center has recently obtained a 3-D digital mammography system. Not available anywhere else in the region, this innovative new technology allows doctors to see breast tissue detail in a way never before possible to help find breast cancer at its earliest stages, when it’s most treatable. This technology is especially valuable for women receiving a baseline screening, those with dense breast tissue and women with a personal history of breast cancer.
