The Sheriff’s Department raided four properties in Lucerne Valley Friday and seized more than 3,700 marijuana plants and more than 250 pounds of processed cannabis. Starting about 7 a.m., deputies from the Marijuana Enforcement Team went to the 15800 block of Huff Road, where they seized more than 2,500 plants and 231 pounds of cannabis; the 31100 block of Villa Nova Road, where they seized 564 plants and 12 pounds of cannabis; 37800 block of Stellar Road, where they seized 533 plants; and a property on Akeley Road, where they seized 94 plants. Three people were arrested at the Stellar Road address: Robert Flood, 61, of Lucerne Valley; and Patricio Ruiz, 41, and Rafael Sanabria, 37, both of Los Angeles County. Investigators do not believe the locations are linked.
