The 35th annual desert run will be held Saturday, October 4, at Means Lake in Johnson Valley. Vehicle registration at Lake Means will take place Friday, October 3, from 4 to 10 p.m. The desert run is a 4-wheel drive course that is approximately 20 miles long with five game stations that you will encounter throughout the course. Anyone that can legally drive his or her off-road vehicle may enter. Be prepared to encounter hills, sandy washes and rocks throughout the course.
