32 people were arrested, and 29 illegal marijuana grow operations countywide, including one in Landers and four in Twentynine Palms, were shut down during the sixth week of illegal marijuana grow raids. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies and investigators from the San Bernardino County Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served 23 search warrants at properties in Lucerne Valley, Twentynine Palms, Alhambra, Monterey Park, Highland, Yucaipa, Muscoy, Landers, Pinon Hills, Chino Hills, Hinkley, Spring Valley Lake, and Phelan from October 4 through October 10 as part of Operation Hammer Strike, week six. During this time, investigators arrested 32 suspects and eradicated 123 greenhouses. Deputies seized 23,553 marijuana plants, 2,267 pounds of processed marijuana, 14 guns, and $43,400 in cash.
The raids came as a result of numerous complaints received regarding large outdoor marijuana cultivations in the areas. The suspects were cited or booked on charges of illegal cultivation of cannabis and possession of marijuana for sales. A complete list of suspects and raided properties is available below.
