The Solar Car Challenge is an education program designed to help motivate students in science, engineering, and alternative energy. 30 teams will arrive at Luckie Park as they race from the Texas Motor Speedway to the finish line in Palmdale, California in hand-built cars run exclusively on solar power. The public is invited to join Z107.7 at this free event as we broadcast live from 3-6 p.m. at Luckie Park to cheer on the competitors, see the vehicles on display, and speak with the team members.
