3 YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA CULTIVATION

Three Yucca Valley residents were arrested Wednesday (October 13), accused of cultivating marijuana. Around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies served a search warrant on a residence in the 7000 block of Victor Vista in Yucca Valley for an outdoor marijuana grow. Deputies seized 554 plants from the outdoor portion of the property and 674.4 pounds of marijuana being processed, for a total street value of $500,000.

During the search, deputies made contact with Chaz Johnson, 34, Billiejo McGuire, 32, and Elizar Hernandezreyes, 20. Johnson, McGuire, and Hernandezreyes were all arrested for suspicion of cultivating marijuana over six plants. Johnson was also found to be wanted for a felony assault with a deadly weapon warrant out of San Bernardino County. Chaz Johnson was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $250,000.
