3 YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS ACCUSED OF BREAKING INTO STORAGE UNIT

Three Yucca Valley residents were arrested Saturday morning, after a storage unit was broken into Thursday night. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the storage facility in the 6600 block of Prescott Avenue about 6 p.m. Friday for a burglary. Employees showed deputies video surveillance that showed three people entering the property through bushes about 3 a.m. Friday morning. Two of the suspects forced entry into a storage unit and removed between $200 and $300 worth of property. After an investigation, deputies identified the suspects as Monique Reid, 37, Gavin Nuce, 36, and Robert Fair, 47. About 6:45 a.m. Saturday, deputies went to a home in the 6400 block of Linda Lee Drive where Robert Fair was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy. Deputies then went to a home in the 58800 block of Terra Vista Drive about 7 a.m. where they arrested Monique Reid and Gavin Nuce, also for investigation of conspiracy. Monique Reid, Gavin Nuce, and Robert Fair were booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with their bail set at $25,000 each.
