Three local women were arrested Thursday in separate incidents, accused of various assaults. Shortly before 2 a.m., Chelsey Gibson, 21, was arguing with her husband in the 6500 block of Morongo Road in Twentynine Palms, when he said she bit him. After an investigation, Chelsey Gibson was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
Then shortly after 4 a.m., Mairin Donohoe, 25, of the 74000 block of Buena Vista Drive in Twentynine Palms, was arguing with her husband when she started throwing things, including a power drill, at him. After an investigation, Mairin Donohoe was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon. She was also booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
And then about noon, Debra Sands, 56, was arguing with her neighbor in the 7300 block of Condalia Avenue in Yucca Valley when she hit her neighbor, and then bit her. Debra Sands was arrested for investigation of assault with serious injuries, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $100,000.
