Three boys from Yucca Valley were arrested Tuesday, accused of torture, assault, and conspiracy. Deputies were called to the 55300 block of Navajo Trail in Yucca Valley about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for an assault on a 15-year-old boy. The boy said the suspects, identified only as two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old boy, invited him to a home two days earlier and when he arrived, they stole property from him valued at $300. He said they then assaulted him and shot a pellet gun into his head. The boys videoed the assault and posted it on social media sites. The boy was treated at a local hospital for the injuries he received during the assault. The three boys were arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, and torture, and were booked into Juvenile Hall in San Bernardino. The stolen property was returned to the victim.
