The Morongo Basin will be treated to a very rare sight in our skies this Friday. Three vintage warbird aircraft, a C-47 Skytrain, P-51 Mustang, and the P-63 King Cobra, will be making Frontline Friday flights in our skies starting at 1 p.m. to honor our essential workers and medical personnel working to support the public during the Covid-19 pandemic. The three planes are scheduled to fly over the Naval Hospital aboard the Marine Base at 1 p.m., Twentynine Palms City Hall at 1:02 p.m., Hi-Desert Medical Center at 1:07 p.m., and Yucca Valley Town Hall at 1:10 p.m. The Frontline Friday Flyovers are being presented by the Palm Springs Air Museum.
