3.9 EARTHQUAKE NEAR BORREGO SPRINGS LAST NIGHT

A 3.9-magnitude earthquake hit near Borrego Springs last night, according to U.S. Geological Survey reports. The temblor, centered 26 miles south of Palm Desert, struck at 11:10 p.m., sending a jolt through the Coachella Valley. There were no reports of damage or injury.
