The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat Swim Team traveled to Coachella Valley High School on Wednesday (March 15) for their first swim meet of the 2023 DVL (Desert Valley League) season.
The team consists of ten swimmers; seven girls who won 77-44 winning 8 of the 11 events, and three boys, who lost 24-77 winning 3 of the 11 events.
The Twentynine Palms Swim team does not have not have a pool in which to practice, so the team’s swimmers rely on dryland training and practice on their own at nearby facilities.
The team’s next meet is at Desert Hot Springs High School on Wednesday (March 22).
