Today’s Twentynine Palms Tourism Business Improvement District (BID) meeting will kick off with a presentation by the National Park Service regarding the new Joshua Tree National Park Visitor and Cultural Center within Project Phoenix. Then, the Twentynine Palms Events Coordinator Christina Benton will discuss the project’s grand opening plans. The meeting will also include updates on COVID-19-related travel restrictions, tourist destinations, and Q1 Digital Marketing Program results. There will also be an overview of TBID- sponsored fall events.
Up for discussion are two proposals – the BID internet radio advertising campaign and vacation races, specifically the 2022 Joshua Tree Half Marathon sponsorship.
The BID meeting will take place at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Rd in downtown Twentynine Palms.
