The Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery District Board of Trustees meets in regular session tomorrow afternoon (May 16). The Cemetery District will announce the cancellation of their annual Memorial Day event due to staffing issues, though staff will place flags on memorial sites belonging to veterans.
Also at tomorrow’s meeting, they are expected to consider retirement program options offered by the county for cemetery district employees. They will also receive overviews of finances and staff operations.
This meeting is open to the public, begins at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, and will be held at 5350 Encelia Ave in Twentynine Palms.
