29 PALMS PLANNING COMMISSION DISCUSSING NEW HOTEL PLANS TONIGHT

Tonight, November 2, members of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will gather to review and discuss plans for the Wander Hotel, a 93-room hotel to be built in two phases. Phase One will include 65 rooms, a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 640-square foot laundry building, pool, restaurant, storage, street improvements, landscaping, stormwater management, and on-site wastewater treatment facility. Phase Two will include 28 rooms and additional street improvements.

The new hotel will be located south of Highway 62, between Bullion Avenue and Split Rock Avenue, south of Boling Drive, and North of Foothill Drive.

The public meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road. The meeting can also be live-streamed through the city’s website, 29palms.org.
