29 PALMS MAN ARRESTED FOR RESISTING OFFICER

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Wednesday (March 16), accused of resisting an executive officer. According to Sheriff’s logs, deputies responded to the 6400 block of Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms just before 5 p.m. for a report of a man talking to himself and acting out of sorts. Arriving deputies reported that the man, identified as Jonathan Jackson, 34, allegedly would not identify himself and began fighting when the deputy attempted a pat-down search for weapons. After a struggle, Jonathan Jackson was then arrested for suspicion of resisting an executive officer and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
