We have limited information on a Twentynine Palms man arrested for reportedly kidnapping his wife. On Tuesday (November 2) around 3:30 p.m., Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a traffic collision near Paxton Road and Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley. The report alleges that a black sedan hit a white sedan and then fled the scene. Then, deputies received a related call that a victim was kidnapped by her husband. Following the two related reports, Sheriff deputies arrested Rotanak Chhay, 23, for investigation of kidnapping, violating a restraining order, misdemeanor hit and run, violation of probation, and evading. Rotanak Chhay was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $275,000.
