A Twentynine Palms man has been arrested, accused of distributing and possessing child pornography, following an investigation. According to a Sheriff’s press release, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC), and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division began an investigation into the downloading, possession, and distribution of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined that child pornography was distributed from a home in Twentynine Palms.
On Thursday, January 27, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Crime Detail, and the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station, served a search warrant at a residence in 3600 block of Palm View Avenue and contacted Jesus Caballero, 33. Investigators determined Caballero was allegedly responsible for the distribution of child pornography.
Jesus Caballero was subsequently arrested for suspicion of and possession of child pornography and booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he remains in custody with his bail set at $25,000.
