29 PALMS MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING INVESTIGATION THAT REVEALS FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday (March 29), after a probations check found firearms and ammunition. According to a Sherriff’s press release, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Multi Enforcement Team (MET) worked with San Bernardino County Probation on a compliance check on John Steiner’s, 70, listed probation address in the 2000 block of Meldora Avenue. Investigators reportedly located ammunition, magazines, and several firearms during the compliance check. John Steiner was arrested for being a felon prohibited from owning any firearms or ammunition and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with additional probation violations and no bail.
