A Twentynine Palms man will appear today in court following an arrest last week for two felony counts of sexual acts with a minor. Anthony Benton, 26, was arrested on October 5 in Twentynine Palms and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail originally set at $150,000. An arraignment hearing was held on October 8, and Benton was released on bail the following day. Anthony Benton is expected in court today (October 13) and tomorrow and has pled not guilty for both felony charges related to sexual acts with a minor.
