The 29 Palms High School Wildcat Boys Varsity Tennis team traveled to Palm Valley Country Club to participate in the semifinals and final rounds of the Desert Valley League Individual Finals on Wednesday (4/27), the finals consisted of all 8 teams in the league. On Wednesday the team of Rian Kines/Hunter Branch faced the number one team of yucca valley in the semi finals and won in two sets 6-1 and 6-4. Rian and Hunter played another Yucca Valley doubles team in the finals and lost in two sets. Rian and Hunter will be representing TPHS in CIF individuals. Coach Bill Shay said, “Way to go Hunter and Rian on a fabulous performance.”
