The 29 Palms Art Gallery and gift shop will be temporarily closed through the month of January 2021.

Gallery spokesman Vickie Waite said, “With consideration for the health and safety of volunteers and all visitors to the gallery during the continuing coronavirus pandemic, and in light of the extended stay-at-home orders by the state, the 29 Palms Artists’ Guild board has decided to suspend the gallery and gift shop operations through January.”

The artists originally scheduled for the month, Jennifer Grandi, John Henson, and Denise Tanguay, have been postponed until May 2021, replacing the May youth art show, which was cancelled.

Stay in touch with the gallery for announcements about upcoming exhibitions and virtual art classes through its Facebook page and the gallery’s website, www.29palmsartgallery.com.
