The 29 Palms Art Gallery is hosting a live art auction, fundraising event. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with all the details… Shamrocks in the Desert is the theme for this year’s art auction at the 29 Palms Art Gallery Saturday, March 19th. Join in to help fund more than 30 exhibitions, 20 classes, and important maintenance for our historic adobe. This is an opportunity to purchase rare, historic pieces from private collections, and contemporary art by significant local artists. Come early for social hour. Silent auction browsing begins at 4 pm with wine, hor d’oeuvres, coffee and dessert; the live auction begins at 6 p.m. featuring some of the hi-desert’s most talented artists. Tickets are $10 and include two drink tickets and a paddle. Advance purchase is recommended.
