The 29 Palms Art Gallery will hold two art classes Friday, September 18. The first class is from 4 to 6 p.m., and is geared toward youth ages 5 to 17. Artist Hiroko Momii will cover how to design with negative and positive space. The second class, from 6:30 to 8:30, is for adults, and artist Mark Spangenberg will join Momii to discuss the similarities and differences between abstract and realistic art.
