29 Palms man arrested twice in two days for investigation into stalking

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested twice in two days for investigation into stalking and violating a restraining order related to the same victim.

The victim – a 20 year-old resident of Yucca Valley – reported to deputies that she and the 25-year-old suspect Robert Robles of Twentynine Palms are in process of a separation and that she has an active restraining order against him.

Deputies report that on Tuesday (June 20) Robles was arrested for violating the restraining order. He was released later that day.

Deputies say that on Wednesday (June 21) at around 4 p.m., Robles arrived at the victim’s place of employment in an attempt to reconcile. Deputies later arrested Robles at his home in Twentynine Palms.

Robert Robles was arrested for investigation into stalking and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on $50,000 bail.
